We believe in providing a fun and safe environment for people to experience the joy of Swing. We believe in the mixing of diverse groups of people that these places encourage. We believe in humour and the power of not taking oneself seriously. We believe that every dance with a smile can be an enjoyable experience, whether it is with a beginner or advanced dancer. We believe that the world can be a hectic place, therefore one should be able to unwind in an environment where you can see and participate in something artistic and joyful – swing dance!

*If you feel any individual is being inappropriate or touching you in an uncomfortable way, please tell them so. If they do not change their behaviour please bring this up with the organizers or scene leaders.
**If you’re being harassed or notice someone being harassed please tell the organizer, scene leader, seniors or teachers immediately.
We reserve the right to take appropriate action against any and all forms of harassment. If a community member either provokes or is un-willingly engaged in inappropriate behaviour and harassment we reserve the right to take immediate action to address the situation. This includes verbal warnings or expulsion from our studio. Participants who are asked to stop any inappropriate behaviour is expected to comply immediately.
We will treat these issues with the strictest confidentiality. Your courage in coming forward can keep incidents from being repeated.
